Pretty solid, but I'd be hoping to come out with something a little better than Conerly and Sanders at the top if we're losing that Titans pick and trading up multiple times.

Wouldn’t be mad about this at all. Dynere miller would be an instant favorite in TC.

I love it. My only change would be to flip the RB & WR picks. I’d go after a bigger bodied WR with a 4th or 5th round pick rather than another small bodied WR. I like Will Sheppard in the 5th. And I’d go later with RB if I were going with a smaller guy, like etienne. I’d probably look at someone like RJ Harvey or Jarquez Hunter later in the draft. But hard to nit pick here. I love the investment in the trenches with the first two picks. Well done.

I like it. M
Hard to criticize without knowing what else would be available. I like the general direction though.

Nice work, Crow.
I'll be happy if KC ends up with one of Tuten, Brashard Smith, or Etienne.

I am really starting to think the Chiefs should double dip and take a speed/receiving back first (Tuten/Blue/Smith) then take a true 3 down back in rd 6 or 7 like Jarquez Hunter or Jacory Croskey-Merritt.

I’m good with this only because Crow knows way more than me lol.
Giving Mahomes more protection and time in the pocket should always be a priority. Without any glaring holes going into the draft OL should be the move.

I'm not happy with LT and I also really like Conerly, so that may not sit with everyone. |

I tried to think about who would fall to the top of the 7th that might be a guy I'd like at RB and just not many names came to my head. Maybe a Montrell Johnson ends up that far down. Honestly, maybe a lot more than are thought end up down in the 6th and 7th because there are like 32 RBs with draftable grades and not every team might want to draft early on. When a class is loaded like that, good players tend to drift because teams know there are so many. Just like DT, some good players will be around in the 5th-7th round. Teams are going to fight more over the positions that aren't saturated and only the cream at the top where they are. |

I keep going back and forth on an almost daily basis.
Would I prefer that they just add to the team overall? Or would I prefer that they throw numbers at the offensive line with a chance at solving LT for the next half decade? It's a risk. Might STILL be no closer. But we've had underwhelming first round picks more years than not. I don't know. |

My 1B is absolutely JT Tuimoloau, so if we don't go OL, I do truly hope he's the pick. I really don't want to see this team take a DT in round 1 with the depth of this class. It would take a Harmon or Nolen falling for me to even consider it and I just don't think that'll happen. Give me a playmaker off the edge to compliment Karlaftis. I think that goes way further in the long term. |

I see why you like etienne though. He does a good job with his vision and acceleration. He’s moving so fast through the hole that it’s hard to get him. He seems to see the hole very quickly, which would be a drastic change for us. Pachecos vision is terrible and hunt doesn’t have that acceleration anymore. I like etienne.
But you’re right about the depth of this group. I like Montrell Johnson, Jarquez Hunter and RJ Harvey. I was just thinking that someone has to fall. Quote:

Isn't Rice the team's long-term slot option? I know he plays outside too, but I thought slot was his primary position. Of course, Rice likely has some kind of suspension in the future and is coming off injury -- and only two years left on his contract. Plus, he might be a knucklehead. Never mind.
