How do we feel about the Super Bowl?

What's the pulse of CP right now on the Super Bowl?

Close game, just the way the Chiefs like it.

I'd like to say an arms-length type of win... one where the score is fairly close, ~10-13 point lead, Eagles don't ever have possession with the chance to take the lead in the 2nd half, but have the ball on a few drives where they get close or tie the game (or at least have the chance to).

And I'd like to say that because Mahomes was locked the hell in during the AFCCG, and not expecting anything less of course. And even when they left points on the board, the defense showed up when it mattered the most. Plus, all the Eagles stats coming in also look so.... underwhelming.

I voted 1-6 point win though, because I felt the same way two seasons ago, where I said the Eagles would have to prove it on the field... then by halftime I was like, yup they're pretty good! So, I'm potentially underrating their ABILITY to play with the big boys a bit simply because they didn't even play any of them in the regular season.

I'm also fascinated by their run heavy scheme this season and really wonder what they'll do on offense, so that's a pretty big unknown variable, IMO. Hurts had the game of his life a couple SBs ago, so while chances are he won't duplicate that against a defense that no longer has several rookies in their first SB, will they take the training wheels off in this game or just go Barkely heavy. The former will most likely result in a closer game than the latter, no matter how scared everyone says we should be by Barkley.

Game stays close but Chiefs pull away late.

77-3. Chiefs win in a game that’s too close for comfort.

I have been all over the place on how I think this game plays out.

The two weapons we must stop are Barkley obviously but also Dallas Goedert. He may be a real problem for us.

I have some worries about their pass rush but I don't think anything will ever be as bad as the Tampa Bay assault on our 2nd and 3rd stringers.

If we go into half time at worst down 7 points, I am confident in our second half performance.

Of course penalties have to be as minimal as possible and we can't have turnovers or injuries.

Philly has some good talent but we have a massive coaching advantage. They will abandon the run in the 4th quarter trying to score, then waste an early timeout. A well-timed corner blitz results in a Hurts strip-sack late in the game, then they watch helplessly as we kneel out the clock.

Close game. We go up in the 4th quarter by 7, Eagles respond and score a TD with 2 minutes on the clock and then Patrick drives down the field for the walk off Butker field goal.

Also it's quite funny how many Eagles fans think it's going to be a blowout. We haven't been blown out in years. The hardest teams they've faced this year are Washington, Baltimore and the Packers who all have major weaknesses. They are going to be in for a shock when up against a well balanced team led by the greatest ever quarterback and HOF coaches.
