Call me crazy, but the MLB draft was actually better years ago when I was a teenager. You could simply listen to it on baseballamerica.com conference call style, with each pick made in rapid fire succession.

Of all the pro drafts, MLB is the least suited to the modern, drawn out, commercial packed, primetime extravaganza.
