What Andy Reid wants...
For those who think the Arizona deal is going to happen this fast, think again. John Clayton reported that Andy Reid wants to look around the league and hear from a couple of teams that includes the Chiefs, he shows interest for the Chiefs. Reid wants to shop around to find the right job for him. He's not looking to make that quick decision.
BTW this was on NFL Live like 5 mins ago.

I wonder if winning a title with ND would improve our chances. I just keep thinking about what Clark said about a coach with a history of building winning programs and Kelly's done it at 4 schools (all different levels).

I'd say no.

Brian Kelly has proven that he can coach at any level. Whether or not Notre Dame wins or loses won't be a factor.

That said, I'd be surprised if he left for the NFL this year. He could build an everlasting legacy at Notre Dame, something that is extremely unlikely to happen in the NFL.

I don't like the lack of balance in Reid's offenses, and I also believe that much of his success, and the reason he has floundered the last few season is all about Jim Johnson.

I haven't seen anything from Gruden that he can successfully develop a QB, and would be very concerned that we'd end up in the same damn retread QB purgatory we've been in for the last 30 years.

You're probably right. I'd sure kick the tires on that if I just fundamentally changed the way my franchise is run and needed to hit a home run with my first hire.

Those are legitimate concerns, and I think that Gruden would be, by far, the biggest risk of the two. His reputation with QBs is something that should give everyone pause.

And while I appreciate 'zilla's comments about Gruden's week in Oregon, I'm not sure if that's enough evidence for me.
