Is Hunt Telling The Truth?
Don't want to start a panic, but I know we are all thinking the same thing even if we want to ignore it. Clark SAYS he is gonna hire a vet coach that's experienced in what we need and that Pioli won't play a part in the search, but then we keep hearing about guys Pioli has connections with getting interviews and how Clark hasn't even contacted Andy Reid.

I may be jumping the gun here, but this is starting to remind me of last years "we are gonna bring in qb competition" talks that we all know how that ended.

Is this a "fool me once..." type scenario or are all the tree coaches interviewing just bs leaked by Pioli to create the impression he still has his nuts?

Should we be pissed?

The NFL Front Offices/HCs such an 'incestuous league of many trees' which means everybody knows everybody with much respect AND much animosity.

Politics,politics,politics unfortunately play a bigger role than we would like determining GM/HC because all we fans want is a winning SB team. And if you haven't seen the series episode of a "Football Life" 'Cleveland 95' then it would be worth your while to see it what we are dealing with because Pioli gets a huge play in this episode and what we are dealing with as long as Scott still has his job.

Not good as long as he is still the Chiefs GM.

I can understand people being concerned that Pioli isn't outright fired. I don't know why. But, to ignore the owners own words is silly. Pioli isn't hiring the new coach, he isn't scouting players, he won't be talking to the media in any form, meaning he is not director of football operations, and is powerless. Again, I don't know why he's still there, maybe Clark likes him wants him to take a smaller job in the organization, maybe it's about money. I don't know. When asked about Pioli's future, Clark said there are more changes coming.

To me it's very smart to hold on to Pioli until alot of the changes have been made. Just think about it. Pioli has been scouting for the team, has all of the inside information about the teams plans that even though he would be gone, the information would be very detrimental to the teams plans.
That is probably why he put a muzzle on everyone until they get their pink slip. He needs to keep Pioli on the sidelines until certain decisions are final. I am confident now that Pioli is gone when no more damage can be done.

Clark has already started this process on the wrong foot by not getting rid of the cancer that is Fat Scott.

Clark is well intentioned but he is hopelessly out of his league on this.
