Andy Reid

Speculation that he'll be out in Philly after this year.

Would you want him as the HC here in KC ... considering any other REALISTIC alternative options you expect are likely to exist (ie, don't consider Sean Payton, Jimmy Johnson, or any other unrealistic HC option).

I feel bad for him for his family issues but that's also why I don't want him. I think he needs take a break from football personally. At some point he is going be an emotional wreck because he uses football as a gateway from reallity of whats going on with his family.

I'd take Mike McCoy over him.

Yeah McCoy is #1 on my list. Reid would be 2 or 3.

Reid should get a look if available. However, my top HC candidates are as follows:

1. David Shaw (Stanford HC)
2. JAY Gruden
3. Rob Ryan
4. Perry Fewell (Only if he comes with Marc Ross, who I'd LOVE as GM)
5. Mike McCoy

Another negative working against Reid would be that his defensive philosophy doesn't really mesh with the qualities of our current players on defense very well.

If he would be OK with hiring a 3-4 zone blitzing DC, Id be fully on board.
