...what food-items do you remember your parents or guardian carting?

I think mine was Milgram's on Seven Hwy. across from Zarda Dairy.

Mom bought Seitz Hot-dogs and Mac-n-cheese loaf.

Also, bagged cereal. We were poor like the dickens.

Can you share your story?

My Mom was good for a pair of Jordache Jeans once per year, it was that - or - two or three Lee's or Levis, I chose the Jordache, the green stitching.

I remember the Kmart snack bar in Lee's Summit had the best nacho-cheese, it was sortof darkened, like it had reduced in it's pot. HOWEVER - the thing that made it good was, I believe they added Jalapeno juice.

I honestly don't remember for sure, I only have a very vague recollection of them but I thought they were more like a Walgreen's. I could be totally wrong though.

Loved me some 7-Eleven Big Gulps and those frozen Burritos that you would microwave in the store back in da day.....then spend about an hour playing 4 or 5 dollars worth of quarters on Galaga....good times!

I don't know. But I do remember the first time I walked into Dillons and I discovered their video rental area and video games. I was like 10 and it was $1 Wednesday and my mom would let me rent a few games and I thought it was the greatest thing.
