Trailer premiered at gamescom a few minutes ago, seems like a good time for its own thread.

(is that Flemeth's voice?)

You get six hotkeys and a radial menu that pauses the action while up.. It's really smooth.. If you've no real experience with consoles, I'd understand.

I'm too much of a mouse and keyboard guy. Just doesn't feel right without hotkeys and a nice bar full of skills and pots.

I'm curious to see just how good the game looks in dx11, too. I was able to turn it on for the demo, but it's supposedly not actually working...

I guess my Dragon Age: Legends mage is getting wiped tomorrow. Going to try to make level 13 tonight, just to see what a bear looks like in combat. Be curious to see how different things are after the patch tomorrow.

Compared to the PC experience that is just turrrrrrrrrrible.

Plenty of experience with consoles - love them, i've owned nearly every single one of them since the NES. I'll try the demo out on one of them i'm sure.

Some of the DX11 features were disabled from what I saw.

Dialog wheel is awesome. Sometimes i'd miss out on potential investigation cues in DA:O without it.

Isabella looked...different.

Flemeth looked different, but she can take just about any appearance she wants, so no big deal.

Love the way the Rogues move, i'll probably run that next.

Played as a Male Mage first time through. Like keg, i'll probably run it again a few times.

Compared to the pc yes, but if console is ur only way to play this series -- do it.

Building a good gaming pc is a bit down the list, but it's on there.
The penumbra series will be my first install.

I'm 100 pages in to the first novel (The Stolen Throne) and she makes an appearance in that, too. Quite the undervalued character.

Sorta seemed like shed be joining up for a bit after saving us.. But having her as a playable character would be like having the Hulk..

So I sat through the credits for some reason (LONG) and discovered that Merrill is voiced by Eve Myles.

(Those of you who've watched Torchwood should recognize the name - looks like I'm romancing an elf now)

I was also surprised to discover that Alec Newman did Sebastian Vael. I remember watching him years ago as Paul Atreides in the SciFi Channel's version of Dune.

Strong voice cast yet again, which should come as no surprise after Mass Effect 1 and 2 and Dragon Age: Origins. (Can't wait for TOR...)
