CNNSI's 2009 Chiefs Draft Coverage - Mark Sanchez

That's still a horrible draft. I really dunno what Pioli was thinking the first year.

Hopefully when it is all said and done, last years draft will not be so horrible. They are talking that you have to coach up the players you have on your roster. I know that goes against the CP philosophy that says all draft picks are busts if they don't show HOF skills in their first preseason game, but I am excited to hear that philosophy going to be followed. Jackson, McGee, Belcher, Studebaker, Washington, Harris, Brown, and the likes need to be brought along if this team is to move to the front of the AFC West in the near future.

Guys, football teams are supposed to bring communities together. We're very confident that we've built the foundation through last year's draft. We were able to get the next Richard Seymour, and the next Tom Brady out of 1 draft. We were shocked you all didn't share our elation. But, that is why we do what we do, and you all do, well, whatever it is that you do.

Season tickets are available now. Contact your local sales rep. Tell them you want to be a part of the right 53,000 season ticket holders. The evaluation year is over. Be a part of the process.

The consequence of Mark Sanchez being good is too great for most Chiefs fans to accept, because it means that our GM is a ****ing reerun.

I beg your pardon? The great fans of Boston would disagree. Did you not read my above post? We got the next Tom Brady AND the next Richard Seymour out of that draft. Some of you guys are bitching just to bitch. I am the executive of the decade after all.

And in the second draft you got the next Ed Reed, Wes Welker, Devin Hester, and Mark Bavaro with your first four picks.

McCluster isn't white. Other than that, it would appear that you fully understand the process.

If Scott Pioli were to stop posting now, I'd argue that his posts in this thread would put him in contention for end-of-the-year honors.

I wonder what the Dolphins fans are saying about them taking Gholston over Matt Ryan or Jake Long?
