Which is exactly why it'll have to be 2A if the Chiefs want him.

so where do people value Tate?
would it be crazy to take him if he's there at the Chiefs 2a? (i'm assuming he won't last much longer, but maybe not true?) can't get over his time at the combine....we badly need a burner...charles, bowe, tate is the start of something solid....

He's got great size and power, and he's also pretty damn smart. I think he's got 3rd round value now, but he's going to be moving up. I considered him to be the best available OT at that spot.

Listen, there's no way that Cody makes it to our 2a pick. He's a Charger in this mock if SNR uses his ****ing head. (Sorry SNR.) We got the BEST NT in this entire draft to fall to our 2a pick. You better ****ing hope Linval Joseph or Terrell Troup falls to our 3rd. Hughes? Pah. I would have gone Sapp if you HAD to go OLB, which you didn't... |

I don't like Ricky Sapp, Hughes is better than him.

Buddy we've tied up nearly a hundred million dollars in two struggling DEs that, IF they play up to their potential, can somehow give us the best 3-4 defensive line in the NFL. But you need them to PLAY. And Cody is the best nose in this draft, period. Ugh. And I do mean UGH. Just need a body? Was Wilfork just a body? SOMEBODY HOLD ME BACK. I GON RAPE PEOPLE |

The only reason Cody would end up with San Diego is if Matthews goes ahead of that, which is possible.

I like Hughes, but without the stud NT, we're sunk. I think Cody should be our first, 2nd round pick.
Hughes figures to be an OLBer in a 3-4 and with Hali and Vrabel, doing a decent job, OLBer is a luxury we can't afford this early, IMO. Berry and Cody would have been a Hell of a start to helping fortify our defense.

Without a pass rusher the team is doomed, NT or no NT.
Vrabel is just complete balls and Hali is what he is. |

The best 3-4 DL in football? I can't take you serious when you say stupid shit like that. Rule of the Draft: You DO NOT draft for need. You draft for value. |

NEs defenses were never built around pass rushers.
