Not a day early or 2 days , so somebody has something to bitch about.

Another turnaround Big Monday vs a quality opponent on the road.

Sorry Turg, we need this one to have a chance at running the table. Should be a tough game on the road, but with aTm you never know. At times they look good and other times weak. They are a strange team to figure out for some reason.

i think he's a good recruiter,good coach and a great guy.

Personally I hate the Hi-low offense. I've never liked it. ever......that's just me and the from my experiences with it playing it growing up. But at least Kansas looks to get high % shots first before taking shots from outside. Not anything like that crap Missouri plays.

Yeah, Wall might beat Sherron a few times only to run into a brick wall called Cole Aldrich.

Please. And if anyone is fouling out - it's DCuz. The bad thing is they have Patterson and Orton, as well.

i agree about Wall running into Aldrich until he gets into the foul trouble i mention.

say what you want about that slimy jackass Calipari but he can coach.

He will make sure that the first that his team does is to run right at Aldrich over and over again until he gets into foul trouble.

Aldrich comes out against a team like UK and it means trouble.

ITS so easy to bash KU's weakness and think UK isnt above defeat.. Maybe you need to put as much effort into breaking down UK, watch all the games this year, then come back with a different approach, as you do listing EVERYTHING that is wrong with Kansas....

I disagree with Laz's constant Self-bashing, but I do think Kuntucky could beat KU right now. Cousins is a freak, plain and simple. The combo of Cuz, Patterson, and Orton off the bench would give the Morris twins fits, and they get in foul trouble as it is.

I have no idea who would guard Wall. Morningsleeves is our best perimeter defender, but I doubt he would stay with Wall. The only chance to slow them down offensively would be to stop their transition game and slow the game down. But then we have 40 minutes of Cousins down low.

Just bang on Cousins hard, he's a whiner, a cry baby and he will get into foul trouble easily. He might even mouth off and get a T as he has done before.

KU can slow down UK, attack Wall with Taylor and Collins, get Wall in foul trouble and by doing just this, KU will beat UK by 15 points.

But it is just one game, either the semi's or the championship game, so anything is possible. I wish we played them twice a year!

we do everything offensively and defensively better than UK

and Aldrich is the best big man in the country at avoiding foul trouble...

UK doesn't run an offense...they dribble and take bad shots, Cousins is far and away the best offensive talent on that team....Walls point come mostly from breaks, steals, and various garbage plays...

Bledsoe is a ball hogging brick layer just like Hamilton at UT...they have nothing off the bench, Liggins is atrocious and Orton is a nice kid with no game whatsoever...

jesus, last night against a bad team in a bad conference, a team that suspended it's leading scorer and had it's only real post player foul out...they had to go to overtime...

KU has better wins than UK and it isn't even debatable, KU is also a much more experienced and better coached team...again, not even arguable...

KU: 2nd in adjusted offense and 2nd in adjusted defense
UK: 14th in adjusted offense and 19 in adjusted defense

UK is good, but they have just as big a matchup problem against us as we would against them. Yes, they have Wall. Fine. But we move the ball EXTREMELY well, and have two good shooters in Collins and Morningstar/Reed (who both do an excellent job of getting the open 3). Aldrich vs. Cousins, you have to give the nod to Aldrich here based on experience and general "Man-ness." Cousins whines a LOT and is immature, despite his talent. They have to match Marcus Morris just like we have to match Patterson. But on top of all that, we STILL have MkM, Ty and X, who must be accounted for.

I think people here are falling in love with the idea of Kentucky just like we all fell in love with the idea that Texas was unbeatable. If you watched them play over the past few games, they are JUST as vulnerable as KU, if not more so. It took a complete ass-****ing of Miss St. by the refs last night just for them to eek out a win against a mediocre team.

I'm not saying that we would destroy UK, but I am saying there's no WAY they would obliterate us right now. We are a tougher team. We play tougher opponents. We play better ball than they do. That's why we're #1 in the polls, Sagarin, Kenpom and RPI. Kentucky is not. Duke is ranked ahead of them in most of those, and for good reason. Kentucky simply hasn't played up to our level. Not saying that they CAN'T, just that they HAVEN'T and there's no reason to expect that they can.

And 2 weeks ago, KU took a bad team that was missing its best player to overtime. Just saying.
