I didn't get to follow the draft much today, I'm amazed the broncos gave us their #1 next year.. It looks to me like a bad deal for the Broncos.. What did the announcers say?

For all the Mark Sanchez lovers how does he compares as a prospect compares to Matt Leinart and Carson Palmer? Matt Leinart is a bust and Carson Palmer is servicable.

Palmer was the #1 QB prospec this decade, Leinart is sytem limited ie he really only fits the West Coast Offense. Sanchez is way more of a physical talent than Leinart and also loves the game more. Sanchez is comparable to Matt Ryan in terms of comparison coming out of college.

Ryan didnt start until middle of his sophomore year he backed up CFL QB Quinton Porter until then. The experience thing is the only thing that Ryan had over Sanchez as a prospect.

That's a huge difference. That's why Ryan could step in and make an immediate impact. Maybe Sanchez will be great, but it will take 2-3 years at the earliest.
