Football Carroll's Comments on Sanchez - Page 8

I know this has been posted in other threads but I thought it deserved a little personal attention since there seem to be a lot of USC fans on here.

Is it just me or did Pete Carroll come off like a total asshole in his comments about Sanchez leaving? I can't find the full quote yet but he made it clear that he thought it was a terrible decision and Sanchez is not ready. I am usually a fan of Carroll and as someone who lives in L.A. (although not a USC fan) I think he is a great ambassador for college football who carries himself with a lot of class.

What's with his complete lack of support?? Any USC fans wanna enlighten me?

seriously how many people here think Sanchez will be a better pro QB than Colt Brennan?

DCS,Keep plugging for those USC players that fail in the league and obtw they are failing in College as well, they seem to lose to some nobody PAC 10 school every year now.

I actually think Carroll has the players best interests at heart. Living in L.A. I hear about all of the things he does in the community. Obviously this helps his recruiting but he goes above and beyond to stem gang violence and keep kids off the street. He seems like a great guy which is why I was surprised he let his emotion get the better of him and sound off in the press at the possible detriment to Sanchez's career.

He didn't do anything to the kid. Apparently the guys who make millions and actually make the picks have the kid as a second round prospect. Carroll isn't lowering the kids value, he's just telling the internet "gurus" inside info.
