While it's true that there will be a lot of pissed off people here, and based on the outright lies that have been circulating out there with the lack of news, I don't doubt there will be lies made up about why he didn't accept, the silver lining is that if choice #2 fires Herm, jubilation will return.

The only way this turns into disaster is if three guys turn us down and we end up going with choice #4 and keep Herm...

All in all, if it took Clark this long to negotiate Pioli, I am sure we are in the right direction. Let this shit take as long as it does, Clark will make a pick that is sure to benefit this team greatly.

EVERYBODY, call the season ticket hotline and tell them you would be interested in ST, only if Pioli is hired and Herm is fired, then they can call you. Maybe after they compile a list of 5000 ppl in an hour, it will help to push this mess over the edge!

Why is anyone taking John Claytons word for anything? A few days ago he said it looked like Pioli would take the job. Did he? No. So why would Clayton saying that it looks unlikely mean anything?

It is his opinion, nothing more.
