They don't rank into the triple digits, so it's hard to pinpoint where KU would be, but it's safe to assume that they would be in the 50-60 range. MU will be double digit favorites to win the next 2 games. If they win both, they will finish the regular season as a top 10 team and Big 12 North champs for the second year in a row. They will also be the favorites to win the North next year.

MU loses a ton of talent after the season, but there is a ton of new talent coming in. There is no way to say if the new players will pan out, but it's unlikely that MU falls into obscurity to the degree that Kansas has.
I'm trying to understand why you think this. You just beat K-State by less of a margin than we did, and you nearly lost to Baylor. Your best win is over Nebraska.

How the hell is MU that much better than KU?

We beat K-State in a blowout. Margin of victory at that point becomes pointless. We didn't nearly lose to Baylor. There is a difference between winning a close game and nearly losing. Baylor never had the lead, and they were never close to taking the lead late in the game.

Georgia nearly lost to Kentucky. Missouri won a close game against Baylor. (I don't expect the difference to be within your grasp.)

Meanwhile, MU completely outclassed Nebraska. Nebraska comfortably handled KU in a game that was never really in doubt. That is how in the hell MU is that much better than KU. They are better as a team (this season) and as a program (outlook for future seasons).

Baylor wasn't close to taking the lead in that game? Are you serious? They had the ball with a shot at taking the lead, and choked.

They never advanced the ball past their own 23 yard line. That wasn't a choke. They just got beat. They weren't exactly knocking on the door.

Pssst: Outside of your little state neither Kansas nor Missouri is relevant to big-time college football. Does that help you guys out any?

There's nothing confusing about it. Both teams blew out K-State. So what?

The confusing part is how you get worked by a Nebraska team that MU spanked by 35 and still think you are in the same class as Mizzou. You would think that giving up 108 points in an 8 day span would clue you in as to your place in the college football world, but I guess not.

Really? If memory serves, the highest rated college football game (excluding bowl games) last season was the MU-KU beatdown. I think the number 12 team in the country is relevant.

Because they are better than the rest of the country is willing to give them credit for. I know that OSU isn't the best team in the country and they have laid a few eggs in the last two national championship games, but they are top 10 team. They are a completely different team than they were against USC. This Pryor kid is the real deal and now arguably the best RB in the country is healthy. OSU did lose the Penn St. game, but that was well in hand till a costly fumble at the very end. Hell if Terelle were to just lean forward, instead of trying to go outside, OSU would be a one loss team. I do believe that Oklahoma St is better than OSU, but I think OSU would beat Georgia, Boise St, and Utah. Don't tell me how great Georgia is, they should have lost to KY(You do know that KY is a powerhouse in basketball, not football). Don't get too happy about a down year for OSU (everybody), because they will be even better next year. You should see the recruiting class that is coming in next year.

You're delusional. Georgia would romp OSU. You really want to knock Georgia for the Kentucky game? Ohio State struggled for most of the game with Ohio and barely defeated a terrible Wisconsin team. Don't throw stones in glass houses.

About next year.. yeah, yeah, yeah... this year's team was supposed to be better than last year's which went to the NC game. It's not like OSU is the only team that will get good recruits or return starters. You're going to lose Jenkins, Laurinaitis, Robiskie, Wells and others... that's not going to be easy to replace.

Jesus Christ. What a ****ing ignorant statement.

You can go cuddle with Sam Hall, and coo softly about "big time" college football, tradition, and who's going to win "Dancing With The Stars".

We'll just be rooting for our team, and enjoying wins.

Only in the Big 10 can someone use the phrase "well in hand" when referring to a 6-3 lead in the 4th quarter.

Just giving you a hard time, but seriously... I think OSU should be a few spots lower.... at least lower than tOSU (see what I did there), Mizzou, and Georgia.
