They don't rank into the triple digits, so it's hard to pinpoint where KU would be, but it's safe to assume that they would be in the 50-60 range. MU will be double digit favorites to win the next 2 games. If they win both, they will finish the regular season as a top 10 team and Big 12 North champs for the second year in a row. We beat K-State in a blowout. Margin of victory at that point becomes pointless. We didn't nearly lose to Baylor. There is a difference between winning a close game and nearly losing. Baylor never had the lead, and they were never close to taking the lead late in the game.

Georgia nearly lost to Kentucky. Missouri won a close game against Baylor. (I don't expect the difference to be within your grasp.)

Meanwhile, MU completely outclassed Nebraska. Nebraska comfortably handled KU in a game that was never really in doubt. That is how in the hell MU is that much better than KU. They are better as a team (this season) and as a program (outlook for future seasons).

The confusing part is how you get worked by a Nebraska team that MU spanked by 35 and still think you are in the same class as Mizzou. You would think that giving up 108 points in an 8 day span would clue you in as to your place in the college football world, but I guess not.

Really? If memory serves, the highest rated college football game (excluding bowl games) last season was the MU-KU beatdown. I think the number 12 team in the country is relevant.

Because they are better than the rest of the country is willing to give them credit for. I know that OSU isn't the best team in the country and they have laid a few eggs in the last two national championship games, but they are top 10 team. You're delusional. Georgia would romp OSU. You really want to knock Georgia for the Kentucky game? Ohio State struggled for most of the game with Ohio and barely defeated a terrible Wisconsin team. Don't throw stones in glass houses.

About next year.. yeah, yeah, yeah... this year's team was supposed to be better than last year's which went to the NC game. It's not like OSU is the only team that will get good recruits or return starters. You're going to lose Jenkins, Laurinaitis, Robiskie, Wells and others... that's not going to be easy to replace.

Only in the Big 10 can someone use the phrase "well in hand" when referring to a 6-3 lead in the 4th quarter.

Just giving you a hard time, but seriously... I think OSU should be a few spots lower.... at least lower than tOSU (see what I did there), Mizzou, and Georgia.
