I RETURN

I've been without power since Friday night/Saturday morning. Missing the Chiefs home opener was excruciating, but as the updates flowed in via radio I became disgusted. When I saw the box score in the paper Monday morning I figured this place would want Herm fired. I see you all did not disappoint!

Anyway, we JUST got power back. Time to check some e-mail!

Was the game as bad as the box score indicated? I'm going to start downloading it momentarily.

Nope, just some limbs and whatnot strewn across the yard. There was a lot more severe damage in the area. Saw people in our neighborhood with cracked roofs and smashed mailboxes. Lots of fences down. A few cars got ****ed up.

We had running water the whole time but today the pressure dropped and it was trickling out of the faucet. That may have had something to do with the power going back up so quickly afterwards.

So if we get down to the nitty gritty, the really important stuff, your Carrie Underwood and Larry Johnson memorabilia survived the storm?

Oh yeah. We're too far North for any real damage to be done. Those poor bastards in Galveston and south Houston got ****ed real good.

You are so close you could probably house a few refugees or maybe even go down and help the clean up. Think of the work out you'd get by lifting debris off of stuff.

I have no idea what this post means that said shithead please move closer to the coast, or maybe your parents could rent you a place closer to the coast to get your sorry ass out of their basement.
