Chiefs website Bowl.

Last year, Warpaint and ChiefsCoalition participated in the first Chiefs Website Bowl - or whatever it's called. Naturally I played for the Warpaint team and obviously that team destroyed the Coalition.

This year I propose that ChiefsPlanet challenge the Coalition folks. The date of this competition would have to be Sept 22nd, I presume as their annual Festivus is that weekend.

Who is with me?
This game is on.
Date: Sept 22nd
Time: Noon
Where: Raytown South

If Chiefsplanet decides to play the Coalition, that's fine, but that has nothing to do with the Website Bowl, considering the Coalition doesn't hold the trophy.

If you can put a Warpaint team together, let's do it. I don't see that happening though, considering Warpaint had to snag help from everywhere but their website to field a team last year. In fact, I don't remember who all played last year but I'd venture there were more ChiefsPlanet members than there were Warpaint.

This needs to happen.

Now the important question: Where's Truman?

I bought the trophy to give to the winner last year. Warpaint Illustrated has the trophy. Do we need to award a trophy? No, but it sure gives the winner plenty of bragging/busting balls rights. WI brought the trophy to Festivus that night after the game and busted balls all night. It's all about having fun.

The orginal idea that I had was for this to be an annual event and involve all Chief fan websites that chose to participate. I would suggest that the Coalition play the planet and the winner plays WI for the Chief Fans Website Bowl trophy.(If they get a team together)

If someone would like to contact the other Chief fans websites and see if they want to play I would organize a tournament. Short games against each other. Winners of the pool play play each other for the Chief Fan Website Trophy.

It sounds fun but I'm pretty sure you'd need to place me on PUP after playing just one down.

I would love to play. Do you need more players? I don't want to drive over to KC if we already have 50 guys vying for playing time. Hell, I've been wondering when Roger was gonna get another game together. My nephew asked me about it the other day, too. He's getting much better and much bigger (he's a HS junior now).

Well, I think 2 years of playing HS football and weight training has really improved him. Although I do recall him making quite a few plays last year. Just forget about the dropped passes. Hey, what do you expect? He's a defensive lineman.

I don't care who plays. I'm guessing the size of the teams will be subject to how many people the Coalition can bring and if they're willing to take some of our extras.

Let me review the thread and see how many solid committments we have from people I know are going to show.

That's 12. I don't see why you couldn't come Lzen. A couple of those people will have something come up. We can make sure your nephew gets some PT on the line too.

IIRC, we have Dave, Sully, Domer, & DP as linemen. Kepp is a good corner. Valiant, Phobia, Wutamess, & CoMo will play wherever. The others can fill in the holes. Sounds like a good crew.
