So I'm on my way to work, and I stop by an ATM that is not at my bank to get money out for someone I owe it to. The machine takes my card, processes it, gives it back to me and says thank you. One small problem. It didn't give me my cash. I go into the bank, tell them I didn't get my $40 (plus $2 charge for the transaction). They tell me that they dontt balance the ATM, there's nothing they can do, and that I should call my bank to see if it got debited. Turns out it did, and now I have to go to my bank tomorrow to fill out a form to dispute the transaction. A lady I work with banks at stupid bank. She calls her local branch and gets a number that my bank is supposed to call tomorrow. All this for $40!

Wow that sucks.

One time my ex girlfriend's debit card got eaten by the ATM Machine because she didn't activate it. I dont remember what we needed the money for, but I just remember that it was about 2 AM. That sucked.

I've only had an atm eff up on me once, and it was in my favor. Got an extra $10 out of it.
