Coming off an American League Divisional Series appearance, its year 3 of Matt Quatraro tenure. Can they take the next step to a division title? Can Bobby Witt, Jr. take his superstar status to another level? Can Cole Ragans develop more? Will the other starting pitching duplicate last season? The offense can it deliver more? It's early to be scoreboard watching, but I'm watching the Twins/Guardians and nobody seems to want to win. Two rain delays. And the Tribe just left the bases loaded in the bottom of the 9th. On to extras. Go Twins? Ugh.

And that went as expected. Twins piss away opportunities and Tribe walks it off in the 10th. For as ****ed as Cleveland is at getting through the playoffs and winning a series, they sure are some lucky mother****ers during the regular season. Currently 5 games over .500 with a -24 run differential. Tigers/Angels tonight. Go Anaheim. Weee.

It makes sense. Their offense hasn't been good. Not as bad as the Royals but still a bottom 10 offense. Their rotation has struggled too, but their bullpen is still good even with Clase pitching terrible. They've still got several weapons down there.

Definitely a recipe for a team that you can blow out if you beat up their starter, but if you get into any kind of close bullpen game they're going to bleed out close wins.

And on the opposite end, you've got the Twins six games under .500 with a +4 run differential. Go figure.

It's amazing how much better this teams starting rotation has been since booting Dayton, Metheny, and Cal. The last two names on there really formed one hell of an incredibly dangerous (to our pitchers health) duo.

**** Im not a fan of Q, but I don't despise him like I did Matheny. That dude should never coach another team again. Could you imagine him as a little league coach? He'd absolutely ruin them and their arms may fall off.

Looks like he's playing 1B. Not sure what the path is for him unless we trade Vinnie if he isn't going to play OF.
