He’s a lazy defender whether he’s injured or not, nothing new there. Lakers will have to trade for a defensive center in the offseason to cover for that. They tried to do that already with Mark Williams and need to try again.

If you ignore the fact that LeBron carried their entire defense for all 5 games. Without him out there, they were completely hopeless in that respect. It looked so bad defensively that Redick even desperately had to play the guy for the entire 2nd half of game 4 just to keep it competitive.

LeBron is approaching age 41 and just finished his 22nd year in the league while still averaging 25-7-8. The guy should be a role player at this point and not being asked to be the best player on the court in order for his team to win a playoff series. It’s time to go home to the Cavs and get carried himself for the first time in his career.
