*****Official 2025 Royals Season Repository Thread*****

Coming off an American League Divisional Series appearance, its year 3 of Matt Quatraro tenure. Can they take the next step to a division title? Can Bobby Witt, Jr. take his superstar status to another level? Can Cole Ragans develop more? Will the other starting pitching duplicate last season? The offense can it deliver more? Who will be in the outfield? How about the new stadium development?

Righthanders with great changeups who throw straight and hittable fastballs and have no breaking ball of which to speak generally won’t have succes.

Bubic looked like a different guy a couple years ago during Q's first year, he just got hurt. It seems like of all those young pitchers he was the one who responded to the new coaching staff.

José Guillén from 2015 or Hunter Renfroe?

Keep in mind José would have been retired for 5 years at this point.

I didn't want to punch Jose Guillen in the face like I do Hunter Renfroe. Does that count?

I don't know that anyone can take the crown from Neifi Perez for me. He sucked "royally"...but the fact that he was compensation for maybe my favorite player at the time as a young fan in Jermaine Dye will have him forever etched into my Hall of Shit for Royals players.
