They always thought Cleveland was a very real possibility and honestly it works...Sanders limitations aren't an issue in Stefanski's scheme.

He needs Sanders to process fast, be tough and accurate that's what he's good at.

Sanders averaged 3.18 to throw the ball last year. He's gonna have to speed that up in the NFL or he's gonna get killed. Not saying he can't be pretty good but he's definitely gonna have to change a few habits.

However, Flacco is probably the starter in Week 1 (assuming he wins the job during preseason), and he's old. Pretty near washed. And Stefanski isn't going to operate as if Flacco is the answer for the entire season. No way he just wastes the whole year with Flacco/Pickett under center. He has to get into the playoffs and win a game, and that's not happening with Flacco/Pickett/Gabriel, right?

So, there's a chance that Sanders ends up starting a few games. Maybe even half the season. Even if CLE completely implodes, all the more reason to put Sanders out there once the season is lost, right? SOP in the NFL, no? So, I think it's reasonable to assume that Sanders will get some starts, just a matter of when.
