Maybe it's just how the board worked out for the Chiefs and their thought is that with the influx of so many RBs from this class that there's going to be viable options that become available.

A vet that is more reliable and better at blocking and picking up blitzes might be the trade-off of getting a young buck with fresh legs?

It's just a reality that they couldn't address everything but that is the price of getting the picks they did.

Its entirely possible thats how they see it

I certainly wouldn't turn up my nose at another Damien Williams or Jet McKinnon... maybe they think that Niner we picked up is that guy, who knows

Its just getting tiresome always having to dumpster dive instead of grabbing an elite player
