I don't think he's much of a gamble at all because his floor still seems to be a guy with a valuable NFL skill.

The 'gamble' is opportunity cost. You may have passed on some guys with a greater chance of being a 3-down DT. But they also do have as loud a single NFL skill set.

Those guys actually have lower floors than ONL. I think ONL actually has a decent floor because I think he's absolutely an NFL player, even if it's only as a rotational interior rusher.

Need I remind anyone what Wharton just got betting ' only' exactly that?

My issue with the draft, apart from the obvious annoyance with the Simmons pick, is balance.

I just really wish we'd have grabbed a year one one contributor as a skill position player by now.

There's still day 3, but these are true dart throws.

Here we go...

I gave all the reasons. I provided all of the data. I provided it 27 ****ing times this offseason and after the pick. It's not some representative SAMPLE like all of you think it is. It IS the data. You ****s don't want to accept it, don't. Don't give a flying **** anymore.

And you all can suck my dick. I'll disagree here and that's fine. I think he needs more refinement and it's always a guess if these guys catch on fully but he has traits that you can't teach so absolutely would make the move.

Your analysis is valuable.

If I may, you're taking disagreement and criticism way too personally.

You seem to have the emotional intelligence of Shedeur Sanders and then get super butthurt when you aren't treated like Patrick Mahomes at the podium.

Do all the research and analysis for yourself, not so you can label yourself Legendary... and if us dumbassss don't appreciate the blocks of gold you're shitting that apparently entitles you to call us all ****ing morons the second a pick is made, then so be it.

There are a lot of people on this board smarter than me and when it comes to all the draft analysis and so forth, including you, so yeah I more or less take it all in and don't go off the deep end of arguing, knowing I don't know shit... and I get the frustration of people who tend to take the smallest amount of info and context and title themselves experts.... but, reading back through that thread yesterday, there were a lot of the more intelligent people that may not have agreed with you, but had civil as **** discussion about it... and if you can't even appreciate that without flying off the handle, that's a you problem.

TBH, I might agree, but it's a defense heavy draft, and our DL has been horrid. We desperately need a pass rush.

I think Williams is the one pick i really don't care for. Fine in isolation, but yeah, that should lve been Starks or preferably Royals or a RB.

The personal aspect is that I'm not an idiot. If someone has two undergrad majors and a master's, they probably aren't an idiot. Given that education, somewhere along the lines, I PROBABLY took a statistics course or four. Can I still do really advanced statistical analysis? No, I don't use it every day. But being told I don't understand studies and statistics is a direct slap in the face; that's personal.

Also, I know a lot about this injury and the construct because I took human anatomy, biomechanics, kinesiology, physiology, exercise physiology, sports injuries, and so on as part of my second major, and I took the time to read the data compilation specific to the sport. Am I Rick Burkholder? **** no, but that doesn't mean I don't understand how horrible the injury is to ALL athletes. Yet, I'm an idiot. That's personal.

Just because Joe Blow can still walk good as a 50-year-old, goatee-sportin', Camaro-driving, big-dick superstar fan on a Chiefs message board after having this injury doesn't mean it's a good thing for an athlete. It's especially not a good thing for a football player who requires a lot more power generation through their legs than some other sports require. I wouldn't understand that, because I'm the idiot.

So I apologize that my frustrations led to me calling people idiots or morons as well, and that was childish of me. I don't think you're an idiot. I don't think DJ is an idiot. I don't think every person standing on the other side of the fence is an idiot. And so on.

As for the contributions, nah man, plenty of resources out there to get the same information. This place will not miss one bit of what I provide, and that's not tooting my own horn. That's just being completely realistic. I don't want and am not asking for sympathy/empathy, whatever you want to call it. I don't want accolades and pats on the back and all that shit.

I'm just tired of fighting. And the less you provide, the fewer arguments there will be. If someone asks specifically for an opinion or alludes to wanting that opinion, as you did with ONL, I'll give it.
