Final Mock (4 rounds)

1. Josh Conerly, OT, Oregon - after several years of trying to find a long term answer at LT, the Chiefs finally have a legitimate late round 1 T fall into their lap that happens to check all their boxes. If Moore is a huge success, could also allow you to move one or the other to RT..

2. Jordan Burch, EDGE, Oregon - the Chiefs double dip on some Oregon talent, but this time on the defensive side of the ball. Burch fits the Spags profile perfectly, and his upside is fairly high.

3. Omarr Norman-Lott, DT, Tennessee - some people like DJ are very low on him for whatever reason, while others are very high, so it's hard to get a read on where he's going to go. I think he's way too good of a pass rusher for the Chiefs to pass on here.

3. Tory Horton, WR, Colorado St. - probably the most underrated WR in the class, Horton is the perfect X for this team, and would complement Worthy, Rice, Hollywood, and Kelce perfectly.

4. Damien Martinez, RB, Miami - the theme with these picks is lining up need, fit, and value. I think Martinez is a borderline top 100 player, but many think this is where he will go. I can see it due to a loaded RB class.

I gave ya ONL.

I'm up 2-1 and I really think I'm gonna get another one of those later picks. Damn - need to come up with a thought for that 5th rounder though.

I know Ettiene seems Taylor-made for us, but Giddens just feels like a Chief.

Okay - I have a perfect one.

Caleb Ransaw, safety out of Tulane.

Really versatile and really traitsy. Little on the short side for the boundary but can do the high-low thing at safety/nickel and has outstanding range as a CFer. Will hit (not his calling card, but will do it) and he's a DB from the south.

Honestly, this feels like cheating. It's too obvious.

Oh shit I knew I should've just went with Simmons but I wanted to hedge my bets from the call your shot thread and I didn't want to start my mock with the 1st pick being the one all you mfs would hate

Not really. They're all niche backs and there's a lot of RB depth.
