My preference:

Move up to 50-55 to get Henderson. He’s a game breaker that’s elite at pass pro and is a weapon as a receiver that’s still developing those abilities. Use the pick we got for athuney to move up.

At 66, take Darius Alexander from Toledo. The only reason a guy like him is available in this range is his age. Totally ok if we move up 5 spots to get him. If he gets selected elsewhere, take Farmer and don’t look back.

At 95, I am banging the table for Xavier Restrepo or an edge that falls.

I’m a huge fan of Restrepo and think he would be a perfect fit in the short and long term in this offense. If he goes before anticipated, an edge or a corner will be there at plus value.

Lots of guys I’d be thrilled with today…

Amos
Donovan
Burden
Will Johnson
Mike green
JT
Porter (would be great here)
Noel
Farmer
Burch
Sanders
Judkins
Kaleb
Swinson
Royals
Strong
Skattebo
Burke

I did and RB was NOT a concern last year. That has the best we have been on short yardage for YEARS. It was a godsend. One of the reasons we were 15-1. Our RB room was absolutely fantastic. Kareem Hunt solved our short yardage woes and helped us a ton in the red zone. Solved our issues overnight.

Now this year with a healthy Pacheco and then you have a change of pace in Mitchell. We are all set.

Henderson is (likely) going much earlier than that. I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s one of the top 5 picks tonight.

Probably.

But there's a chance that he's a specifically elite talent for US.

Other teams may be looking for someone on the second day more capable of handling 300+ touches. Or who play more physically.

And a lot of teams already have a back. Or aren't a back away from taking the next step.

So there are maybe 4-5 teams he'd need to 'sneak' by? And if there is just a guy or two they like more, maybe that's possible?

I'll just say that it's a possibility because he's not a conventional 'workhorse' back.

Unlikely. Not impossible.

I saw a report that EB absolutely loves Henderson and he jsut makes way too much sense in Ben Johnson's offense.

I think he'll be a Bear barring somebody trading in front of them.

Now Quinshon Judkins? I think he might actually fall to us.

I want to use the extra 5th we got from Philly on Jarquez Hunter, the RB from Auburn.

Which teams does Henderson need to sneak by? CHI, DEN… who else?

The Vikings and Packers kinda worry me as well. Good weapons in the passing game to spread the field, veteran backs with physicality that can carry some load.

No other obvious pressing needs.

Similar situations to ours.

Yeah, and others have been rumored on him as well.

Think Chiefs would have to target #38 with the Pats to guarantee they get him if they really want him. He's likely gone shortly after that (assuming he makes it to there)

What would that cost to move up from 63? I know they have an extra 4th from next year from the Bears, but that's not gonna be enough to make THAT kind of jump.

A 2nd and a 4th next year?

Would that get it done to get from 63 to 38??

I actually prefer Judkins over Henderson. But either of them would have me ecstatic.

And if I’m in fairy tale land then add Burden to the list.
