If Kingsley can't win the job from Caliendo coming out of camp, then release him immediately.

Anyone assuming Kingsley has the job locked up should pause a bit. This staff seems to have a hard on for Caliendo, as tends to happen time to time with these guys. I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if Kingsley plays well and Caliendo still ends up starting at first, especially if Kingsley struggles with all the little intricacies that they seem to value over raw talent.

As soon as I saw this tweet I knew there would be reeruns that believed Caliendo actually has a shot.

Guys, they aren't going to just hand Kingsley the position in April. It's a "competition".

Exactly what do you guys think changed since that tweet?

If you believed Kingsley was the starting LG, who did you think his backup was? Did you not know Caliendo was on the team?

I still haven't figured out why Caliendo was resigned, honestly.

So NOW are we all ready to accept it? I mean, it's been ****ing obvious for a couple months now, but apparently Reid has to outright say it before some will believe it.

That's where I'm at with it. If Kingsley can't beat out that scrub muffin then he's well and truly hopeless.

Exactly. I don't know how you can watch Kingsley week 18 and not have full confidence in his ability to beat out Mike ****ing Caliendo. Does anybody believe the Chiefs are planning on starting Caliendo week 1? Obviously not. They fully expect Kingsley to win that job.

yup, the difference between Caliendo and Joe Thuney playing LG was massive

I don't really notice Thuney when he was playing LG, because he's just quietly dominating and who really notices the left guard. But I damn sure was noticing Caliendo playing LG.
