I'd given up on Cross.... I thought he was another Dayton Moore special - "high character," coach's son type player with a higher floor and much lower ceiling. Still don't see much there there, but man it would be great if he became a piece. We are so piss poor in the OF.

That shit is no joke. My old shop teacher/basketball coach from high school got it several years back after a hunting trip. He was wheelchair bound for a bit and had to relearn how to walk. He’s doing much better with a walker now, and granted, a much older man, but yeah, it can be quite debilitating even for a young man. Cross is definitely on the radar.

Mozzicato was just a stupid pick. I trashed it at the time, and it has just not worked out.

Don't take small, "projectable" pitchers from bad-weather states. It's pretty simple.
