My sister is about as conservative as a person can get with her money, and she made a move this morning. I thought it might be too soon, but I'm just glad to see her growing out of the herd mentality and seeking opportunity instead of just bitching about it like someone twice her age.

I'm surprised to see Nike getting a bump right now. I suppose some of the companies connected to the first countries reaching out for renegotiations could be seeing a correction.

Hopefully, a year out, they have almost all of their portfolio in treasuries. To say the least it has been my saving grace... I'm down, we all are, I'm just not really crushed.

I nearly responded to this last night and said I'm surprised it wasn't worse. Didn't take long, geez. I don't think you'll see many companies give guidance at all.

Nintendo announced the new Switch 2 console for preorder this Monday. $450. It was supposed to be available in June. Today they announced they aren't taking preorders anymore and it's on hold indefinitely now.

Today’s continuing sell-off was spurred on in part by China’s retaliatory tariffs and the EU hasn’t entered the chat yet. Neither has England, Australia or Canada. But all of their leaders made it pretty clear that they would be responding in kind, not “negotiating.”

We haven't reached the bottom just yet.

Given that this has been the largest 2-day drop (by value - not percentage) in stock market history, I'm gonna wait and see if things swing back around next week before declaring this is "not rough". There's plenty of room for it to get worse.
