I guess I just don't see 17 miles as that long. I've snapped photos of 4 different tornadoes. I guess I've just seen (relatively speaking) a lot of long-track tornadoes.

Here's a pic of the EF4 and the second one was an EF2, IIRC. In the 2nd one, the structure to the left is actually a hail shaft. The tornado is at the base of the structure on the right. I never did get a picture of the actual funnel.

It is hard to get a shitty photo of a tornado, and you managed to get really clear photos.

On my own. I've always wanted to do one of those up-close-and-personal tours but just never could justify spending the money.
