Nice move. Thought was a solid player here. Allows Hicks to take on more of the Justin Reid role

Nice. We didn't have a true FS on the roster.

Chiefs defense is basically just missing Sneed from 2023. Safety room is different but has more range. Cook should be back to 2023 form now.

Chenal brings a different skillset from Gay but is roughly the same caliber of player and is better on ST.

We're gonna be nasty. Nasty AF.

And that’s BEFORE the draft.

We’re adding 2 contributors on the DL in the draft.

I could see this being 2023 with a slightly lesser secondary and a better pass rush.

I wonder if he ever makes his way back here, or if his body is broken beyond repair.

Would love to see a reunion if/when he gets cut or released by Tennessee in a year or two. I don't know the cap impact of what their options are with him, but I doubt he's a trade candidate on his current contract.

He’s a cut candidate next year based on his contract structure.

I wish he was a few years younger get but this should allow Hicks and Cook play more natural instead of playing FS. But I was kind of excited to see a guy Hicks size try it. Imagine him flying in from 20 yards deep.

I'm assuming Connor is switching to safety next year. That should hopefully be a better fit for him.

Or they may decide to cut Williams/Johnson and keep Connor at #4 CB.
