The Pitt. Max

Watched it last night. Super good! It will remind you of ER because of the frantic pacing and Noah Wylie. But it carves out its own niche.

It’s doing the format of each episode is near realtime of an hour of the ER doctors shift

15 episodes and the first hour starts at 7am when shift starts.

Check it out!

I mean if they do that, just go ahead and have Robby jump.
Same. The shooter thing with David just seems so obvious and cliched. I’d rather it be the angry dude who punched the head nurse at this point.

Wife and I said the same thing about the lack of pharmacist on the code/trauma cases. But outside of that, it’s the best medical show I’ve seen since ER.

Noah Wyle from ER kid doctor to grizzled veteran ER physician has been a great casting.

Spoiler!

If you are working in a hospital. you have a moral commitment to do no harm. The poker face is a part of that.

The patients are already stressed out and you make them even more stressed because you cant control your emotions? Not acceptable at all.

I agree , she was an Older student who had gone into ultrasound from the business world , had not been exposed to much healthcare stuff , hell she had to pull over in her drive home because she was crying too much after her first cancer find .

It is harder in a small town though just found an ovarian CA on a friend last week , she is trying to do small talk while I have a probe in her vagina trying to figure out this mass , do you chat it knowing she has cancer like it’s a normal day do you go quiet , some patients talk just because they are anxious , so talking helps , just the transvag on my friends wife is awkward enough .

Short episode (40 minutes). But action packed!

Love how they brought in the night shift crew with some fresh faces!

40 minute episode was a ripoff.

Just release all at once if youre gonna do this shit. Wife and I are just waiting until all episodes are available to continue.

Im not really interested in 2 weeks of beefed up teasers for your finale.

Watching ep 1-2 now.

Very ER like. You can see why when you see the developers.
Not sure if they will do the crazy ass disasters like in ER

I loved ER.

I'm kind of ashamed of HBO for reasons I'm not going to mention here.

You don't have to use your imagination as to why. This show is good, just stop with the obvious.

Noah deserves an Emmy for that episode. He brought the acting "A" game. Amazing to watch him deal with the day as the carnage piles on and on into his soul.
