Seeing as Bearcat banned me from the KU basketball thread for daring to use statistics to dispel the constant trashing of the team’s best player this year by far, I’ll need somewhere to put my thoughts for this year’s tournament.

In sum, the committee screwed KU again. Their resume (and wins) should have had them at at least a 6 seed and maybe even a 5. Arkansas is also the toughest matchup they could have had among possible opponents and KU matches up horribly against them (stay tuned as to why).

As far as the rest of the tournament goes, I’m picking Houston to win it all and Kentucky (fraud) to lose in the first or second round.

I don't like that BYU calls a time out with 8 seconds left on the shot clock.

Houston’s path to the title is secure. Gonzaga was their toughest challenge in their region.

That's the way I was looking at it also. Figured if they could get by the Zags, they would make it to the Final 4. But, can't really overlook Tennessee.

Yep, I would add Auburn to the list, if they are hot from 3 you can't beat them.

Maybe... Id love another crack at them. We played them very early in the year, like week 2 I think, and had them beat but blew it at the very end, and ended up losing. I think making 3's goes both ways, if we're hitting ours, we can win.
