The wife of "Ghost Adventures" star Aaron Goodwin got busted in a murder-for-hire plot ... and cops say she tried to pay a hitman to knock off her husband.

Victoria Goodwin was arrested last week and booked on two charges ... solicitation to commit murder and conspiracy to commit murder ... after police said she hatched a plan to kill Aaron while he was filming his show with Zak Bagans.

According to the arrest report, obtained by TMZ, cops say Victoria was messaging an inmate in a Florida prison about getting out of her marriage to Aaron when she asked ... "Am I a bad person? Because I chose to end his existence. Not divorce."

Police say Victoria provided info about Aaron's location and filming times in California, where he was filming "Ghost Adventures

Cops say Aaron's wife set aside $11,515 to pay the alleged hitman ... and they say the inmate she was communicating with messaged a guy about the alleged plot, "He's asleep right now in the hotel room ... I need to know what's going on. Can I get an update. Was it done?"

This x1000. Most unsolved homicides are gang homicides, cases in which cops can say, “dead guy is a Blood. Killer is most likely a Crip although might be Gangsta Disciple. But WHICH Crip? Which Gangsta Disciple?’

Most of the time it takes a lot of emotion to kill someone and strangers don’t do it. I mean, if you cut someone off in traffic and they call you an idiot, you shrug it off. But your spouse calls you an idiot for not wiping down the table and it cuts far deeper. That’s why cops say that if you can investigate the victim, you can frequently ID the perpetrator. So if my wife is stabbed to death tomorrow, you better believe cops will want to know where I was and how I can prove it even though I had nothing to do with it.

A guy got killed across the street from my apartment in Chicago one night. One of my roommates saw the shooter running away down the street immediately afterward. The cops and ambulance showed up, took the body away, and that was it. No visible investigation. No detectives canvasing the neighborhood for witnesses. No crime scene tape. No Grissom and Willows types looking for shell casings. There was blood and brains on the ground, and it froze in place. Nobody cleaned it up. Eventually snow covered it.

There's some big city reality for you. They certainly don't make TV shows about that.

they are not allowed but they still get cell phones in prison, just like drugs and other contraband.

Crazy is crazy.....no matter how good they look.

Learned a lot about crazy when I was in the dating scene after I divorced my first wife....there was no way to tell regular from crazy until you got more involved...and by then you just wanted to run far....and fast.

The weirdest one I dated was a violinist.......she seemed to be nice and regular person at first.....found out that was furthest from the truth. And girls like that don't take "no" very well.
