How are we feeling about our O-Line?

Lol. I came across another clickbait article today. This one said Cam Robinson to sign with the Chiefs. I found that perplexing after the contract to Moore, so I clicked. A box popped up to register, but there was one part under the box that said look for the Chiefs to go after Robinson. SMH. I get sick of that crap.

It's... always been known. This is not a new development.

Pat Kirwan on NFL Radio said the same thing... that the Chiefs might still have interest in signing Cam Robinson, even after signing Moore.

Maybe if Robinson's market collapses.

This seems like hope & cope, I know some people out there DO NOT like the Jaylon Moore signing but now he is a Chief for at least two years

If Chiefs can get him though, damn

Veach has to seriously consider drafting a LT prospect if one somehow becomes available. Even trading up a few spots if needed. Strengthening the position is of the utmost importance. We don't know what we have with Moore. He seems like an upgrade but a temporary one at that. Again, only if one of the top 4 prospects is still available in the 20s.

So then we go into this last year knowing we don't have a true answer at left tackle because Kinglsey sucks and Wanya sucks too.

But ok let's do it anyway.

So this year we get Moore and move Kingsley to guard (if that is what is gonna happen). And maybe that pans out, but the point is for a team constantly fighting for a championship we should not be going into each season with questions at left tackle, which is one of the most important offensive positions.

That too. We literally cannot go into camp without a plethora of left tackles this year because someone has to pan out.

I think his market has already collapsed. Whisper articles out of New England say they are "hesitant" to sign him because he doesn't put in enough work. KC and Tennessee didn't even appear to have any interest. Nothing really seems to have come out of Houston or Cleveland yet, either, and they could both use an LT.

I think one of those teams will give him a deal, but it might be pretty small and for only one year. Honestly, if I were New England, I'd let it ride with Lowe over going with Cam. At least Lowe could develop. Cam Robinson just isn't very good and has always been a guy labeled with a questionable work ethic. I never understood why people wanted him here. Hell, it looks like there isn't much of a market anywhere.

I think that Veach definitely has his eyes on someone in the draft. This move screams temporary fix, and I applaud it, and he's going to make damned sure we end up two-deep at the position.

As for the current talent, I think it's better than where we were sitting last year at this time.
not the worst case scenario to let him prove it to us this season though, he had some question marks this last season but I believe in him.

Hoping that’s Simmons or mayber Conerly Jr and they turn out for us long term.

Could have been better, but hopefully my mind will change after the draft.

Just not enough depth for comfort yet. I can’t stand watching this team operate with holes in their line. It’s maddening.
