Guess my location

I'm going on one of my occasional walkabouts. Over the next two months, I'll post a dozen or so photos of my location. First one to guess my location correctly wins nothing but a little satisfaction with wasting their time on this thread. I'll generally point at the item of interest so you know it's me and not an imposter.

If I get kidnapped by natives or jungle rebels or aliens, please write to your congressperson to get me released.

It's probably not where Butch and the Sundance Kid shot it out with the Bolivians?

I get a lot of my historical and geographical information from Hollywood movies.

You were all really close, except Dartgod who got it by cheating. But I didn't explicitly ban cheating, so he wins.

The house is where the original founders of Paraguay met to plot their independence from Spain.

This picture would've been my next hint.

I damn near lost my right thumb today, though. I was getting into an Uber when the driver closed the power window on my thumb. I thought those things were supposed to back off when they found resistance, but this car didn't. It just kept powering through my thumb. I think it was a Chinese car. I don't know the Guarani language so I just screamed until the driver figured out what happened and lowered the window again. I taught him a bunch of new English words immediately afterwards. That really hurt, and now my thumb is all swollen and non-bendy.

I think they're more into cassava root.

The cashews are top notch, though. I always thought they were native to India, but apparently they're native to Brazil. Live and learn.

Pretty difficult to say where in Antarctica it is, but it's in Antarctica. Probably somewhere with loads of penguins because unless you're doing something scientific, the main tourist attraction of the continent is the penguin colonies.

I didn't even have to show a penguin.

I just marked off my seventh continent. I'm cruising back now on a rolling ship that's about to get a lot more rolling. My multi-year non-vomiting streak is going to be in serious jeopardy over the next couple of days.

For reference, a general rule is that waves below 2 meters are calm water, 2 to 3 meters is moderate, and above 3 meters is rough.

I'm on my way back across the Drake Passage, which is known for rough waters. We delayed the crossing by a day because the passage was having 9 meter waves.

Even with the delay, I'm looking at 6+ meter waves over the next day. I'm in 4.3 meter waves right now, and I agree with the definition of "rough". There's a National Geographic ship running a day ahead of us, and it's currently in 6.5 meter waves.

I'm on the Silver Wind, which is a fine and sturdy ship: https://www.cruisemapper.com/?imo=8903935
