Which we just got done laughing at the Texans for doing, putting TEs on Karlaftis to get their shit wrecked. And in addition to not working, it just meant less receivers running routes against a defense that only needed to rush 4 so everyone else was in coverage on every snap.

I wanted to kill myself listening to this shit even more than I did watching it unfold.

I'm still hoping the thought of nothing to lose now will let mahomes relax and start taking those deep shots regularly. I mean we've seen worthy track well and go up and get contested throws. Let her fly again.

Apparently Jalen Hurts took the super bowl 57 loss personally and made it a mission to win this time around. On his lockscreen was a picture of him walking off the field after the loss. After this year's NFCCG, Chris Long asked him if the Eagles are going to win the SB, and Hurts said "it's already written." The Eagles were a team brimming with confidence heading into the SB and laid the wood to the Chiefs. It's almost as if KC wasn't expecting it.

you can't take deep shots if you don't have the time in the pocket to get the ball down field. Taylor and Thuney were taken to the woodshed in the SB and did not allow these deep plays to develop.

This SB was decided by a very uncharacteristic performance by Mahomes.

The special teams and defense played great. The O line and Pat played like ass. It's not like we need a full rebuild here - we need two lineman and Pat to go back to playing like the All Pro that he is. Odds are very good he does.
