There's life outside of obsessing over the Chiefs

Something I noticed about myself and might be a decent reminder to someone who needs to hear it.

I noticed i was obsessing over the chance for a 3-peat so much it was affecting my overall well-being, and failing that quest definitely hurt. And with the rest of the NFL fans taking their victory lap over our demise, Kelce potentially retiring, and the offseason pundits surely expecting us to fail next year, it would be really easy to get too caught up in all the negativity and hate surrounding the Chiefs, caring too much about what everyone else thinks.

I think I'm gonna chill this offseason. Obviously I'll be checking if Kelce retires and watching the offseason moves, but otherwise I'll be more lax about it. People are gonna say some dumb shit about us this offseason for sure, and it's just not worth getting riled up over.

When the Chiefs beat the 49ers in the Super Bowl I had come to peace with my fandom. I honestly thought I wouldn't live to see it happen.

And if Kelce is back next season I'm going to be very, very suprised.

Does it bother you that Mahomes is going to match or break that mark with zero cheating scandals attached to the team or himself?

I find it amazing that Patriots fan has crawled out of their holes to talk shit.

It must be agony watching Mahomes re-write records and the definition of what a QB should be for them.

It definitely is. It just shows you how insecure that spoiled fan base is towards us. Those trolls were crying over their TB12 bobbleheads all season long thinking of us, now that we lost you can't open a thread without seeing them. I'm just amazed that amnorix/asterisk hasn't shown back up.

Until the Royals start spring training, there just isn't much for me to get interested in.

If I want to take a nap, I can watch some college basketball. Or golf if I'm in the mood to watch paint dry.
