I LOVE Horton as a mid round pick this draft, shocked he’s not projected as a 2nd rounder!

It's only because of the injury. I'd definitely take a swing in the 4th.

Horton is a really steady guy but he's a long strider and not really built well for this offense in my opinion. Not sure how I feel about him as a scheme fit. I saw a comp on the 33rd to Jalen Torbert and that might not be a bad one. I like him as a reliable guy that might be a chain mover but I don't think he'll get separation in the pros because of his slow release and build-up speed.

A guy I keep seeing getting a 3rd round grade is Tai Felton and I like him a ton more than Horton. That said, I think Felton is a 2nd rounder when all is said and done.

As for the 3rd/4th round, a guy I really like more than Horton as well is KeAndre Lambert-Smith out of Auburn (transferred from Penn State). He's starting to get some buzz and some love in draft circles. Definitely a guy to keep an eye on.

He that Colorado State WR? I loved what I saw from him a couple years ago. Not sure how his game would fit in KC but if it's a mid-late round pick I wouldn't complain. He's one of those college players that caught my eye and I thought to myself "I could see the Chiefs taking a stab at this guy". I also felt that way very strongly about Creed Humphrey and George Karlaftis.

I did! I think he can become a real chain mover for us.

Rice, Worthy, Brown, Horton, Watson would be a solid group

Which I dont understand. Doesn't sound like a serious injury and he was a productive player. So someone is going to get a nice player in those middle rounds

Tory, not Troy. I've been banging this drum since I started watching him after seeing him against the CU Buffs early in the '23 season. He, Worthy, and Rice would make a great young trio.

Looked really good in the 2 games I’ve watched. If he’s on the board when we pick in Rd 3, might be worth looking at.

I really liked this dude last season but he ended up staying for his Sr. year.

Yep. A good GM will grab him and get a really nice player in the 3rd...maybe even 4th round. I'd be pissed if he's there at pick 95 and we don't grab him. I'd be fine taking him at 70 honestly.

After Crow said he's a long strider I cant stop seeing his slow feet. He really doesn't look explosive until he hits that top gear. And it looks like its at least 15 yards for him to really get moving.

Also to his comment. Tai looks like hes got good contact balance. Something i think well prioritize for YAC. Worthy doesnt have it, Rice does, and Kareem really made me rethink it as i look at prospects. Contact balance is so damn important for this offense.

Hopkins would probably be considered a long strider also, not that they’re the same quality of player, just sayin.
