Fire Andy Heck

That's literally all.

****er has to go. He's spearheaded two of the worst O-Line collapses in Superbowl history.

Dude has been awful. Believe he has the second highest paid oline in the League. He can’t develop OT worth a shit! Fisher was only decent one but he was average and a number overall pick! He thought a rookie and Morris would be good enough for us to go into the season. We need new ideas and motivation from a new oline coach.

This O-Line talentwise is NOT as bad as it performed tonight. Yet, it was basically the same performance as SB55 in terms of pressure. How does that even happen?
When you play in the Super Bowl against superior defensive lines, and you have a backup line, you will never survive and that's what happened in 55 against Tampa Bay. We had three starters out. This Super Bowl we had a duct tape offensive line with two mediocre at best tackles. It is about talent and we don't have it at our tackle positions.Nuff said.

Won't happen, but I've lost all faith in Heck. They have 3 supposed Pro Bowlers on the line but can't give Patrick any time to throw. Granted I know they are weak at tackle, but come on.

Jawaan has been fine minus the penalties. Trey has been fine. Creed has been fine.

If you want to complain about Caliendo and Thuney, fine. But we got pressure from EVERY angle this game, with only 4 rushers.

Can we do better? Sure. But there is NO excuse for the O-Line performance tonight. The talent difference is negligible and we got historically worked.

I want someone to explain how a team that went to the SB two years ago was able to build dominant offensive and defensive lines. I'm not even going to consider the money paid for Barkley and Brown, let alone Hurts. The Chiefs have spent a lot of money on their offensive line and it was ineffective to say the least.

People refuse to cast blame where it’s warranted. People will say Veach is the best GM then turn around and excuse Heck saying he hasn’t been given the talent to work with. Which is it? Is Veach not finding the players or is Heck not developing them? You can’t absolve both of them. Yeah it’s hard, but that’s the job.
Name a single OT we cut who has thrived after we cut them.

Oh right… Donovan smith was so good teams were scared of how good he was
Wanya morris is going to be a tier 1 free agent if we let him loose

We have an elite gm. He hasn’t hit the mark on one position. He has proven time and time again that when his feet are put to the fire he will fix it. The Houston game was a clear sign we were playing with house money for a while. Our OL was an issue and bandaids can only take you so far

Personally, I think Patrick and Travis cover up a lot of issues with the offense.

yep. and when we aren't getting overpowered by four man rushes we were regularly letting defenses manipulate the pick ups and pass offs with our o-line protections. stunt pickups have plagued this team for as long as i can remember and that shit has NOTHING to do with talent and everything to do with coaching.

so save me the talent horse shit when you got 3 pro-bowlers on the line. heck has been here for a ****ing decade and has developed dick at tackle. cash in the pink slip.

I don’t think it’s entirely fair to be hard on ourselves for not getting everything right given how good we’ve been. The patriots kept their dynasty alive with huge swings every few years (see Randy, welker, etc…) but also rebuild years where they’d stockpile picks. We’ve kept our window open for an incredible amount of time. There is a reason a threepeat is unprecedented.

The remarkable thing about our success is that we’ve never had a true rebuild or reset. Just insane success at the bottom of the draft order

I see high priced free agents like Jawan Taylor and Orlando Brown jr that came here and regressed under Heck.

Obj is playing about the same level of average in cincy

And Taylor is playing at about the same level of average as he did in Jacksonville

Taylor wasn’t great but it’s clear where the biggest issues were today and it was on the other side
