How do we feel about the Super Bowl?

What's the pulse of CP right now on the Super Bowl?

Here’s how I see it.

McDuffie erases, or severely limits, Devonte Smith.
Watson limits AJ to his season average, at most.
A combined effort limits Goedert to a below average game.
Barkley has an uncharacteristic game where to turns it over twice.
Hurts gets beat up on some early runs with the ball once nobody is open and is off his game from the jump.

When we’re on offense, we will need to execute flawlessly to 3-peat.

I think Kareem will play a much bigger role than any other game this year. Their DTs are the defenses weakness in run defense and it plays to our strength. I think that if Hunt gets 25 carries, we win by multiple scores. Force them to bring guys up to stop the a gaps from getting raped and when they do that, Deandre Worthywood go to work in space.

This is going to be a great game. No doubt. I see the advantage we should have in the running game is a killer for Phillies defense. Especially with how amped up Kareem Hunt is sure to be for this one. I won’t be the least bit shocked if he wins the mvp.

We’ve already beaten teams much more talented than the Eagles. Texans defensive line was much better than Philly for example and we beat em twice. You look at how the Rams were able to throw it all over Philly and damn near beat em at home. A healthy Chiefs team with two weeks for Andy to prepare bodes well for the Chiefs. Philly has beat up on a lot of bad teams and it made them look better than they are.

This is the first Super Bowl I go in feeling pretty confident which strangely enough makes me nervous.

Okay, so, I think… maybe the Chiefs have a slight chance of winning? But honestly, The Eagles have been really strong recently, so I’m not super confident. I’m just hoping it doesn’t end in a complete disaster. It could go either way, and I’m kinda nervous about it!

I think I feel the same because it feels like we’re playing with house money. They already did something that’s literally never been done - 2 things actually after the AFC championship game - No one has been to 5 of 6 Super Bowls and no one has defeated a quarterback 4 consecutive times in the playoffs. Of course, everyone wants a three peat and it’d be in the top five best sports accomplishments in sports history for sure. But even if it’s an L, great history has still been made so it’d be disappointing but not completely devastating.

That said, we’ve got the better coach, better quarterback, better DC and game wreckers on both sides of the ball. This should be a W

Guys like Hunt and Hopkins aren't playing with house money though. This will be their first SB game. The biggest game of their lives.
