*****The Patrick Mahomes Thread*****

IT ****ING HAPPENED

OP UPDATE:

Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

Most of those idiots loved Deshaun Watson because HE'S A WINNAR!!! and never bothered to assess who he was or what he did and how he worked at getting those wins. Completely ignored the intelligence factor between the two. Completely ignored the context of team situation.

And nowadays there's always some jackass who says Mahomes is only great because he got drafted by a playoff team coached by Andy Reid and not a bottom feeder. Okay, let's go with that. So if college wins are so goddamn important, what was on each of those respective teams between Watson and Mahomes? Do we not count surrounding talent and coaching in college now?

And it really hasn't gotten any better. These idiots are going to keep loving Deshaun Watson, Bryce Young, Mac Jones, and Justin Fields for their gritty tough college wins. Hell, there were even some morons who liked Stetson Bennett as a 2nd or 3rd rounder.

Generally speaking, I would think all competitive people are more driven by failure than success. You always want to fight back after your failures. Pretty good commercial from Jordan on this topic:

You guys just get to hope your version of Cutler doesn't throw more INT's than TD's next week in the same tired old Andy reid Dink and Dunk O.

I would be worried that a 7th round pick is making throws for TD that your 1st round pick couldn't as evidenced here:
