Joe Burrow comeback player of the year?

What did he come back to? didn’t even make the playoffs.

Made it healthy through a whole season, which is an accomplishment for him considering his injury history. Played like a Top 4 QB in the league.

What about Damar Hamlin?

Came back from literally death, to be a starter who got embarrassed in the AFCCG.

Imagine the media dick sucking if one of the second tier AFC QBs (anyone but Mahomes) had beaten Burrow, Lamar, and Allen (two of which had MVP years that season) in consecutive AFCCGs.

It sounds so impossible to pull that off that people blame refs.

Imagine.

I hope not. Considering that Mahomes is the best of all of them we don’t need him to match or exceed that amount.

I think he got it this year as a make up for last year. He deserved it last year and not Lamar. Lamar earned it this year.

Had Saquon set the record for rushing yards in a season he might have won. That’s about the only way a non QB has a chance.
