I only wash my Chiefs' jersey if they lose, wash off the stink of a loss.

I'm not a very superstitious guy, but one thing I refuse to do is, wear anything with the same color as the opponent on gameday. Right down to underwear and socks. It's been that way for decades, and won't be changing any time soon.

Mostly BBQ sauce stains and now my grandson has been providing baby drool stains. Everyone is a badge of honor.

Sometimes I rock my Salute to Service Kelce jersey for a game along with a Salute to Service cap and it's been a winner. I wouldn't do that against a team with a green uniform though. Most home games I put on my red Mahomes jersey and for away games it's the white Mahomes jersey. So for this Super Bowl I'll be rocking the white jersey and probably the red sweatpants though I do have a light grey pair of sweatpants that I really like to wear. They have a zippered fly and that's hard to find. (How come the dumb asses don't make more sweats with a zipper fly?) I also always where my Mahomes socks for every game.
If I get some new Chiefs gear I have a thing I do to bring it into the fold. I started the season wearing the Salute to service cap or my red Titleist golf cap that I wore the last couple of years but after every win I'd switch to my Super Bowl Champion LVIII cap I bought after last years win. I kind of rub the winning mojo on it. Then after several wins I wore the new cap on game day and we won so that cap is now part of the positive mojo and I'm wearing it every week. I'll have it on my head Sunday. Am I superstitious? Of course not!

I will be wearing as much red as I possibly can. Socks, underwear, pants, everything. And I will probably wear my AFCCG shirt under a Mahomes jersey so I can take off the jersey when I invariably get the sweats in the 4th quarter
