Eagles OC Kellen Moore seen as "top choice" for HC

Hopefully, Moore will be distracted thinking about his new HC gig. and it so happens that the SB will be played in the city he's potentially going to coach in.

Is it because you want all attention on the SB? I'm confused what you're arguing for now.

Saying no coaches from active teams should be interviewed until their team is out of the playoffs makes sense. The other thing does not
No hirings until after the SB. Period. That is the only way for all coaches and teams to have a fair chance at all things.

I doubt it happens but that would be the most fair way for teams and coaches to get to where they really wanted to be without either possibly interfering with the playoffs or hiring another coach because they might miss out on a coach on a playoff/super bowl team.

I don’t want to see spags leave. But if he did I sure as shit don’t want him in a position to fail. Why would anyone in their right mind want that role for the next few years. They are in a special kind of cap hell.

not sure how a new gig can distract him from that "Hand the ball to Saquon" callsheet he's been relying on this season...

I remember saying something very similar right before Roy left for North Carolina
I remember saying "Eh, Britt Reid's DUI accident won't have any impact on the team..." in February of 2021.

Then the Bucs vivisected our offense while we looked confused as all **** while it was happening.

Distractions ain't great and they absolutely ARE a thing.

Can't believe anyone would want the Saints job

Stuck with Carr, they're in cap hell, and have very little talent across the board

For sure. A guy who has been in two terrible unwinnable situations with post bountygate and the mcadoo fiasco… spags is gonna go somewhere where he has a shot to redeem himself. His fallback is to have the best dc job in the nfl. He can more than afford to be picky

It's weird for Moore, but I imagine it's every bit as odd for his players.

They're going to listen to his meetings for the next week and absolutely have it cross their minds that he's got a foot out the door already, ESPECIALLY being in the very city he is leaving for.

That had more to do with missing both starting tackles and some absolute ****ing scrubs playing on that line

Well I'm hoping it's a huge pre-Super Bowl distraction for the Iggles.

I remember Haley was pretty much locked in as our head coach during that 2-week SB window, but we couldn't officially hire him.

I'm sure if he had an eye on his next job, it didn't affect Warner throwing that back-breaking pick 6 before halftime, but it's probably they could've used some more effective plays prior to and after that.
