The Pro Bowl is so STUPID!

Tried to make myself watch some of it, but couldn't. It's supposed to be FOOTBALL, NOT DODGEBALL! Power walking / Speed walking? WTF?!!! IMO, they should just stop the whole deal and make being voted to the Pro Bowl an award. Or, just make it go away all together.

Drake Maye is a pro bowler and Patrick Mahomes isn't.

Let that sink in and now think about how stupid it is.

I haven’t watched a pro bowl game or related festivities in almost 20 years.

I appreciate them putting something together for fans, but I’m just not the target audience with the way it has devolved.

I saw Joe Burrow doing the throwing accuracy competition on my YouTube feed and I pointed and laughed at my computer screen.

The Pro Bowl exists for one reason only— to humiliate the people who lost to the Chiefs in the playoffs. Or in Burrow’s case, the people who didn’t make it at all

Pro Bowl has been played out with what players get paid. Plays in the Pro Bowl like what Sean Taylor did has made it to where it cannot be played.

Yep.

If they still actually played the game, I'm sure you'd see teams putting "no Pro Bowl" clauses in big dollar contracts.

Saw a promo last night on NFL Network.

Clip of George Kittle giggling as he jumps on a trampoline or something.

Thinking about these guys doing silly stuff while two teams are gearing up for the Super Bowl. I felt bad for them, like it's embarrassing.

I get they don't want to injure anybody and make the event more family friendly, but they're getting too damn goofy.

The pro bowl is the highlight of the season for Broncos and Bengal fans though. Most of their fans eagerly anticipate the end of the season festivities the NFL puts on just for them.

Fifty-six years ago, pro football players had pride.

Give them a six pack, a patch of dirt and they were going to play their asses off no matter the format.

Look at the blocks on this sweep around right tackle! That's football!
