GUYS, I WAS 100% SERIOUS ABOUT THAT MAHOMES THEORY ... I think he might have a soft spot in his heart or something. I don't know if you guys heard, but after our game in Arrowhead, he commented to Sean Payton "you guys really got one," or something like that in reference to Nix. Sounds like a nice guy.

Bo freaking Nix' offense scored 45 more points this season than Mahomes. But you were 15-2 (15-1 really). Go figure.

Maybe he doesn't see any upside to humiliating opponents, so he's doing just enough to win. It MIGHT BE SUBCONSCIOUS, but it's something to think about.

Nobody has any comment on the Mahomes maybe-theory? Can't deny KC points scored/allowed ratio doesn't really fit with a 15-2 record.

Get these funny numbers: The 10-7 Broncos scored 45 more points and gave up 15 fewer points than the 15-2 Chiefs.

Broncos +6.7 ppg with 10 wins - Chiefs' just +3.5 ppg with 15 wins. That's might be some kind of record. Gotta admit he does get the most out of the points he does score.

Broncos DID violate cap rules, definitely. I never said otherwise (whichever one of you says i'm denying that is lying. But we were fined ~$950k (yes, 'k') twice, and were stripped of a 3rd round picks.

OTOH, they nailed the Cowboys $10 million and the Redskins $36 Million, and freely stated their conduct was a danger to the League's competitive balance. Whoever said none of that matters in evaluating the Broncos' wrongdoing, wow. You could not be more wrong ... the severity of any penalty should, and generally does, conform to the severity of the violation. In law, in the NFL, anywhere.

Anyone can read this thread starting at about page 5000 and see the proof posted repeatedly that the Donkeys were GIFTED (which does NOT constitute any victory of any sort) their 3 fraudulent SB trophies and did not earn them in legit fashion on a level playing field (which DOES constitute a legit victory).

What we do know: There were agreements between the team and "several" unidentified players to defer salary payments with interest, spanning the exact years during which they had by far the most loaded rosters in Denver history.

Could it be they were desperate to finally break through and take advantage of Elway's last couple years in the league? Nah...
