They're basically the same points I make when posting our teams' H2H in NFL games only, and the other statistical analysis, that since we joined the NFL ... all the way 48 years to Mahomes' first being named starter, Chiefs won just FOUR playoff games. 4 in 48 years. And two were in 1993 with Joe Montana at quarterback.

After being yelled at, insulted and getting my ass kicked for a week in this thread, I pointed out that in those same 48, the Broncos went EIGHT Super Bowls in four separate eras - Mid-late 70s, mid-late 80s, late 90s and early-mid Teens. Set records in MNF appearances, Pro Bowls, All-time record home sellouts, nationally televised games, 10 AFCCGs (the two we lost were in more eras - early 90s, mid 00s), and much much more. My theory then, and now, is the out-sized Broncos hate in this thread is based on all those years looking up.

My only points are there was no competitive advantage (which I may have proven myself wrong on the previous page here), and that the League decides on penalties, not dempsey and not Chiefs posters in this thread. Duh.

The fact that the League's explanation of, and penalties for, the Redskins' and Cowboys' violations were both MUCH more severe does say something, whether you think so or not.

I recall, a long time ago when we were still talking about this, we wondered what the League meant by saying it "violated cap rules" but declined to say it caused an advantage. THIS would explain that! I don't know why you guys aren't jumping on this, but whatever payments and interest they received for deferring a portion of their salary would almost certainly not be reported to the league or the union, but could easily constitute a violation of the cap. And just because it's "interest" doesn't mean it's a small amount ... it could be a flat fee plus interest, very possibly $100,000 each, maybe more.

Wrong again. You've already had it pointed that the Donkeys have earned the hatred by way of their cheating & scandalous activities. It's not OUR Super Bowl count you should be worried about, it's Brady's.


I'm percolating a theory now that Mahomes has just got lazy. He's SO good now, that he expends just enough effort to win games, nothing more. That's why you have so many close games, but still went 15-2 (15-1 really). That's also why Bo freaking Nix's offense put up more points this year than Mahomes' offense.

Mahomes sees no point in embarrassing other teams by running up the score.

I do feel kinda bad for Denver because there’s no way Nix is going to get by Allen, Burrow, Lamar, Stroud, Mahomes for a bowl.

Chiefs own you, historically. In pretty much every metric except SB appearances. That will end next season. You will have nothing left to hold on to. Your franchise will never win 9 straight division titles and they sure as **** won't threepeat in the SB or go to 5 in 6 years.

What AFL team did the Packers beat in their first game of their alleged 3 peat? They didn't beat one because they didn't play one. How hard is that to comprehend?? The Superbowl was a matchup of the AFL champ vs the the NFL champ. Now AFC vs NFC champs. Had they played the AFL champs the year before Superbowl 1 and beat them, then it would be a fair comparison.
