Yup. Could he be a possible upgrade? Sure. But is he $20 million a year + upgrade? Jawaan hasn’t been awful, but people are up in arms over his play in comparison to his salary. Thinking Cam might be the same thing.

Doesn't matter what you want to call it. Going into 2025 with Morris or Suamataia pencilled in as a starter at OT is a nonstarter.

I can't... The only ability that I've seen that was impressive was in a video where he was standing in about three or four feet of water, near the side of the pool, and he jumped all the way out. That was impressive!

Watching Kingsley at Guard yesterday, it looks like he may have a future there. He's still a work in progress, but he did show some promise at the Guard position, yesterday.

Happy to be told I'm missing the good stuff, but he looks a million miles off wherever he lines up, to me. You can see there's some physical gifts but his hands and feet look pretty wild, his balance when recovering poor. I dunno.

Way, way too early but he's going to need a lot of work in the off-season and to effectively start again.

On the other hand, quite liked the look of Nourzad. Maybe he's a center only in the end, but I think he looks the most likely OL starter from that draft class.

He looked so much better at G. And this was against Zach Allen who is probably the best interior rusher not named Chris Jones in the AFC

We’re a long way from home but if he provides a competent replacement for Trey Smith at guard, that’s a massive salvage job to have under our belt ahead of the offseason.

That would be Nourzad if you believe honest substance which Hunter showed yesterday

He actually looks like Trey on those reps.

Absolutely nothing wrong with moving him to G. We're gonna need one. You might actually have your LG/RG of the future with him and Wanya.

Still hope he can improve to the point where we can us him at OT eventually. Lot of OTs went on to good/great careers after having a bad rookie year, so I feel like there still plenty of hope for the kid.

Yep, still think Nourzad is the likeliest replacement, even if he's a better center

You also have to factor in who will be Thuney's replacement when that time comes. Kingsley and Nourzad are definitely gunning for either role.

If either become above average starters it'll be a big win, if both do a massive one. We need some cheaper players on that OL with Taylor, Creed and Thuney all taking up a chunk.

I think the guard work is just a confidence builder. You don’t take a tackle, pencil him in as a starter at LT after one training camp then completely walk away from the notion of him being a tackle. Look how much run Niang got at tackle and he never looked as good as Kingsley did in week 1 vs the ravens. This is a development step imo.
