This wasn't 'figuring out what works'. Thuney only got bumped out to LT because they've completely given up on Suamataia and Morris for 2024 and Humphries unsurprisingly wasn't ready yet after a year off. It was breaking the glass because we had no other feasible option.

It's absolutely hurt the run game. Morris can be a starter just not at LT, he's more than capable of being a RG or RT.

In a season such as this, where we should be selling out to win the 3rd straight I would have moved to Thuney even earlier...as I had mentioned I wanted them to do in the middle of the year. Exactly... there was a sack several weeks ago in the red zone where Morris got zero help and almost got Mahomes killed on a 3rd down after being sacked several times already. Totally mind bottling why they weren't helping him at that point.

Wut? Suamataia beat him for the starting job in training camp. They knew exactly how bad Wanya Morris sucked and only pivoted to him when it was evident Suamataia had absolutely no business being on an NFL field his rookie season when real games started.
